April 06, 1942 History Prof., retired Married 3
After graduation from WHS, I earned a B.A and M.A. from Marquette University in History. More
importantly, I met my wife at Marquette and we have been happily married for forty-four years.
I continued my studies at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and earned my Ph.D. in Modern European History. I retired from my position in the History Dept. at Carroll College (now Carroll University) in
2007 after working there for thirty-eight years.
However, I'm still teaching one course a semester at Carroll and enjoying it. My wife,
Kathy, continues for perhaps another year as
Principal of St. Joseph's Middle School here
in Waukesha.
We have three sons, two in the area and one
in Boston, and five grandchildren. I look forward to seeing classmates on Friday, and I
also want to thank all those who worked on this reunion.  P.S. I'm not sending in a current
picture because I look more or less like my senior picture--if you can believe that !

Fifty years, it is hard to believe it!  It only seems like yesterday when we spent Friday nights at the "attic", agonizing who we would ask to prom (or for the females, would we be asked) and of course trying to learn something in spite of all those other distractions.
My wife, Judy, and I have been married 45 years.  We met during our senior year at Northwestern.  It was a blind date in November 1963 and we were engaged 5 months later.
We have two daughters, Mimi age 44 and Laurie age 41.  We also have two grandchildren ages 11 and 8 who live in Houston with Laurie and her husband Mark.
I sold my business in 2000 and have been retired since then.  I am looking forward to the weekend.  My thanks to all who have taken the time to arrange it.

Today I am retired from the teaching profession, but continue as an exhibiting artist.  I am represented by the Blue Dolphin House Studio in Ephraim WI.

October 23, 1942 Registered Nurse - Retired Married 4

Hello to all my former class mates,

I have seldom gone back to Waukesha after we graduated so I must admit the many of the names and faces in the year book seem very fuzzy in my mind. However, I am looking forward to our reunion and hope to shine a light on those fuzzy faces. I have heard from Ceil Heim (Bottomly) that there have been some wonderful get togethers in the past few years so I am looking forward to our 50th.

After graduation I went to Milwaukee for nurses training and after graduation worked at Milwaukee Children’s Hospital until I married to Ray and moved to Chicago, where I continued working in Pediatrics at Chicago Children’s Hospital.  We had three children in three years then took a break of five years but Ray is an accountant so we had to balance our family as well as our books by having the second boy to balance out with the two girls. After almost 20 years in Chicago, Ray was transferred to Southern California where we spent another 18 busy years there getting our kids through college with a number of years of having three in college at the same time.

We retired about 10 years ago and decided to move to France. We had always liked traveling but had decided that it would add a whole new dimension in our lives to actually live in another country. Our oldest son had lived in France and Switzerland while working for a computer company and that sparked the idea for our move. We rented a small row house in a small town about an hour south of   Paris, purchased a used car and put 25,000 miles on it while traveling throughout fifteen countries in Europe.

I had always told Ray that when the grandchildren came I wanted to be in the States. We came home after the birth of our first grandchild six years ago and now are fortunate enough to have seven grandchildren with one more in the basket. Six grand children live in the Sacramento area where we now live and one (plus the basket) are in southern California. We are fortunate to get to see them all a great deal.

I am looking forward to seeing all of you in September!

Hi to all,
I can't believe it's been 50 years.  I remember when my dad went to his 50th.  I thought, wow he is really old.  HaHa.
My husband is Dave, we have 4 kids, 12 grandkids and 4 great grandkids.
Dave is a Judge in Washington County and will be retiring in July of this year.  We sold our home and will be moving to The Villages in Florida in August.  I won't be able to make the reunion but my best to all of you and have a great time.  Stay healthy and Enjoy.

August 11, 1942 semi retired Married 3
Doug and I were married in 1965.  We have been blessed with three grown children and five grandchildren, ranging in ages 12 to 18 years old.
We lived in the Waukesha area until 1996, retired early and moved to Tennessee, just south of Nashvile.  We are serving with a mission called Transport For Christ that ministers to truck drivers.  As Doug's position changed, we were able to move back to Wisconsin in 2005.  We do a lot of traveling and have been spending the past several winters in FLorida near the Villages in an RV park.
We love camping and going on trips on our Honda Goldwing motorcycle.
Love the website, it's great!
Looking forward to seeing many whom I haven't seen for some time at the reunion.

After graduation, I put my business classes to good use at a manufacturing company in West Allis. After marriage, I stayed home with our children until school age, then worked at our local school district for over 23 years in various departments. I retired 6 years ago. Looking back on the past 50 years since graduation, I can say life has been good to me. My husband and I will celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary this year. We have two happy and successful  children and two fantastic grandchildren, ages 6 and 8, who bring so much joy to our lives. We live in a beautiful area in the Town of Genesee, and enjoy our home, garden and big yard when not off on one of our frequent travels.

April 11, 1942 Retired Committed Relationship 3
I lived in Georgia for awhile (one daughter and three grandchildren are still there) and received my degree in biology at that time.  I've been back in Wisconsin for the last 20 years.  I have three daughters (Jennifer, Stephanie, Kristina) and seven grandchildren--another is on the way.

I've recently been in contact with Mr. Shanks; remember him, our biology teacher?  He is doing well and lilves here in Cedarburg.  I told him about our website, and he said he has thoroughly enjoyed looking at it.

The committee did a wonderful job on the website and the reunion. It's been so much fun to see what everyone is doing!

I won't be seeing you as Waukesha is a long way off! Life has taken me many places and given me many experiences and I'm looking forward to what's yet to come! Germany has become my home after more years spent here than in the States. Plus, I have two daughters and five grandchildren here and time spent with them is prescious.

I meditated in the California desert for three months three years ago and sorted through what's American about me and what's German. It's become about fifty-fifty!

Have a great reunion!

Retirement is great in seacoast New Hampshire.  Trout fishing and fly tying keep me busy.  We also like to travel and get back to Waukesha a few times every year.  My sons and their families live here in New England, so I see my seven grandchildren often.
